Lake Hodges Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP)

The Lake Hodges FireSafe Council CWPP Task Force has created this 2010-2011 plan for our community. This plan is being continuously updated to meet community needs. If you have comments or additions to our plan, please send them to: FireSafe@Cox.net with the words "Lake Hodges CWPP Suggestions" in the subject line.

Red and Pink areas are equally high risk. Colors indicate fire department jurisdictions. Pink areas are unincorporated and red areas are within the City Limits of Escondido (north of Lake Hodges) or San Diego (south and east of Lake Hodges) For easier reference, D=Lake Hodges Dam, M=North County Mall, W=Wild Animal Park.

About Us
The Lake Hodges FireSafe Council is a not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing fire safety information and education to residents of the Greater Lake Hodges Area in the 92029 and 92025 zip codes, west of the San Pasqual Valley and east of the Lake Hodges Dam.

Map of Neighborhoods Served

The organization was founded in July, 2006 and works closely with the Escondido Fire Department / Rincon Fire Protection District and Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District. Public meetings are held six to eight times per year around the greater Lake Hodges area in both public facilities and private residences. If you would like to sponsor an educational seminar in your home, please contact us.
